This is a simple out and back to Schenley Drive.
Collin Chartier is running across the country for addiction recovery and mental health. He left Denver June 13 on foot for the Lincoln Memorial in DC. 2,000 miles, most of it a marathon a day, one van, one driver. He was a professional triathlete until a 2023 doping suspension ended his career, then rebuilt his life through breathwork and nervous system work. Every dollar of donations goes to the Herren Project, Chris Herren's addiction recovery nonprofit. His driver Kevin is in recovery himself.
He comes through Pittsburgh next week. Sunday morning August 16 he's leading a free, all-paces community run/walk for recovery at Schenley Park, staging at the Oval on Overlook Drive, alongside local recovery groups.
